YIPL has been implementing Mobile Social Networking - Nepal project with support from infoDev, WorldBank since July, 2011. The objective of the project is to create a platform for discussion and discourse around mobile technology in Nepal. The project aims for building a vibrant community of practice around mobile technology in Nepal.

In an attempt to take the modern day power of technology, specially web and internet into proper management and organizaiton of large international conference, YIPL has joined hands with Central Department of Botany, Tribhuwan University (CDBTU) to deploy a comprehensive conference website for International Conference on Biodiversity, Livelihood and Climate Change in the Himalayas (ICBLCC) 2010 that is taking place in Kathmandu from December 12- 14, 2010.
 

After months of effort from the YIPLand Digitainment team, Cellroti finally has gone live in beta version on Feb 28, 2010. YIPL takes pride in being associated with Digitainment from the very begining to come up with this portal that is aimed at promoting nepali digital music over the internet.
 

It's kudos for Bibek Shrestha, co-founder and Senior Software Engineer at YIPL. He and is team comprising of Abhishek, Anjan and Lakesh were declared 1st runnerup in the Open Software Challenge Nepal  2009 organized by d2labs www.d2labs.org/oscn/ .
