It's kudos for Bibek Shrestha, co-founder and Senior Software Engineer at YIPL. He and is team comprising of Abhishek, Anjan and Lakesh were declared 1st runnerup in the Open Software Challenge Nepal  2009 organized by d2labs www.d2labs.org/oscn/ .

Out of 83 projects registered for the competition, their open source project on Real Time Face Tracking and Recognition was selected second  at the grand finale by an expert Jury panel on August 08, 2009.The project was about locating human faces in a video stream and identifying the faces by matching them against the database of known faces. This research project was carried out by Bibek and his team as their final year project for completing their degree in Computer Engineering
