YIPL Podcast aims to inform about new technology

by geshan

We at YIPL (YougnInnovations Private Limited) always promote innovation and doing new things, following the same motto we recently recorded our first podcast.

Podcast

Why Podcast?

With a culture of sharing, mentoring and disseminating information in various forms and medium, we are now trying to inform like-minded people about the tools and technology we use. We believe in open source technology, open source methods and highly recommend effective communication.

We want to inform our audience about the latest updates in technology and how to make your work easy and how to start work smart. We believe in giving back to the society and this is our small way of contributing things we have learnt in past 2 years in a different way.

What do we talk about?

Our podcasts will focus on technology and the technical tools we use that have made our work easier. We also plan to inform our audience about the problems we faced in projects and solution paths we chose to solve those. We plan to discuss in panel of 3 or more participants in each podcast with our podcast host Rabindra Gurung.

We will not be biased to any specific technology or tool but will share our practical experiences and knowledge on the technology, concept or tool. Our first podcast is about Content Management System (CMS), how to choose one, its advantages and disadvantages, what to look for in a CMS and what are popular ones and a small comparison of top 3 CMSes.

Who should listen?

Anybody interested in web technology should listen to the YIPL podcast, be it a person who wants to create a website or a seasoned developer who wants to acquire more knowledge on the emerging technologies.

We will start with general topics and as the episodes progress and with your feedback we will focus on specific topics. Your feedback, comments and suggestions will be highly appreciated.

Conclusion

We aim to inform our audience about new technology and practical tools to make their web experience better. It doesn't matter whether it's a small website or a full fledged web application, you as a customer will be in a position to ask what tools and technologies your developers are using and the reasons for choosing so. If you are a developer, then you may find new ways to do the same thing in different yet easy way.
