YIPL has been advocating about Drupal from its very inception. Each new release of Drupal brings new excitement, opportunities and prospect for us. Drupal 7 was finally relased on 5th of January 2011 after a long development time of almost 3 years. This called for a celebration and Drupal Release parties were being held all over the world.  There were over 300 parties planned in over 90 countries, so in the same spirit YIPL took the initiative to host a Drupal 7 release party here in Nepal on January 7th 2011. 

Drupal 7 is of great importance because it bring with it a lot of improvements in UI as well as the backend. The whole admin UI has been revamped and completely redesigned which was much overdue. With improvements in performance and addition of many APIs and integration of unit testing, this release will definitely be a favorite for the developers as well. The new release bring with it a pethora of new features which will really help Drupal cement its place as the best CMS...

Solving custom pager 10 only problem with views

Recently in a project we were carrying out, we faced a problem, the custom pager drupal module had a serious bug, it did not show more than 10 nodes when a view used to render the nodes. The usage of view by default made the problem worse.

A successful Drupal Meetup

The very first Drupal meetup Kathmandu was held on July 19th 2009 at YIPL offices. The event was organized by YoungInnovations Pvt. Ltd. The event saw a turnout of around 25 drupal enthusiasts.
