Redesign to align with the global brand
THE CHALLENGE
As a country program under the global Energising Development (EnDev) initiative, EnDev Nepal plays a critical role in expanding access to sustainable energy in rural and underserved areas of Nepal. However, its existing website no longer aligned with the evolving direction of the global EnDev brand, which was undergoing a comprehensive rebranding process. The previous site was outdated in both design and structure, limiting the organization’s ability to communicate its impact, engage stakeholders, and reflect the energy and innovation at the heart of its work. Navigation was unintuitive, content was fragmented, and the platform lacked mobile responsiveness—making it difficult for users, especially development partners, government stakeholders, and the broader public, to explore EnDev Nepal’s work and results effectively. A modern, brand-aligned, and purpose-driven redesign was essential to meet both local and global expectations.
THE SOLUTION
In response, we led a complete redesign and redevelopment of the EnDev Nepal website, guided by the refreshed identity of the global EnDev brand. Our primary goal was to ensure that the digital presence of EnDev Nepal reflected the new global visual language, tone, and narrative style, while also addressing local content and user needs. We restructured the site architecture to highlight EnDev Nepal’s programmatic focus, key interventions, and real-world impact, making it easier for users to navigate across thematic areas such as productive use of energy, market development, and cross-cutting issues.
Visually, the site embraced the modern design cues and color schemes of the new EnDev brand, offering a fresh, engaging, and professional interface. Functionally, it was developed on a scalable content management system to allow EnDev Nepal’s team to update content easily and maintain alignment with global branding over time. The result is a responsive, multilingual-ready, and future-proof platform that not only strengthens EnDev Nepal’s national visibility but also reinforces its connection to the global EnDev movement.
